Towed away
After driving around to have a look at another air-cooled vehicle, just when we are backing up the driveway of my owners father-in-law, the clutch cable breaks.
The next day I’m towed to the garage where I should have received my APK (Dutch version of the UK MoT or German TuV, basically a once-a-year review on driveability) that same day.
The donor car contained a fairly good cable, and I’m able to let my owner select gear shifts again. Some fresh oil makes me drive much economically.
