There must be something wrong with VW Beetles !
Again my owner visited a meeting of air cooled vehicles of the marque VW, and again something went wrong with me. After humming along on the freeway for just over an hour, we arrived at the city where a treffen was to be held, and I’m unable to keep running on low(er) revs.
After driving around for a while using the hand-choke, we met a guy from the Dutch ANWB knew exactly where to look; a small electrical wire had broken. It took him just 5 minutes to get me into shape again. I got the feeling that he really liked me …
