Start of rebuild
In november 2002, the dutch Quickly L moved to my father, as I have a new one to drive. During 2003, my father spend a lot of time investigation the content of the boxes I gave him. And that investigation showed things were not half as good as we had thought, and we decided that the purchase price had been too high. A lesson learned.
Several purchases from Motzke and eBay later, the bike is almost done.
The finishing touches need to be done to the rear mudgaurd; we could not fix the original one, but a replacement once from an online auction is ready for painting.
I was able to get a very good set of 25-inch tires to replace the cracked slicks that where mounted when we bought the moped, so hopefully it’s now all done before the season starts.
