New moped: Quickly T (1965)
It’s getting crowded in my shed: the club magazine of the NSU Club Nederland had a classified for a 1960 Quickly T – in parts, but complete. The rear shock absorbers were broken, but that was compensated by the fact that there’s additional tools, and a lot of paperwork.
After actually collecting the moped, or rather the stack of parts, my father and I made and initial inventory; at first glance things seemed to be quite complete, if somewhat dirty. The only problems were a whole in the rear plating, probably created to remove the rear axle in the wrong way, and a piece of plating that had been cut and bend to fit a non-standard fuel valve.
