NSU Sportmax @ Ameide
On Saturday July 9th 2005, I visited the family Kostwinder who were racing their NSU Sportmaxes during the Classic Demo Races in Ameide. They have a special NSU class at this event, and many NSU drivers turn up. We made an appointment to have Marco make one or more runs with my helmet camera, so we could get some onboard footage to complete the many videos made by the spectators.
Sadly, in the early afternoon a fatal accident happened, with 5 more riders having various injuries. The event was stopped.
